If you find yourself in Philadelphia be sure to stop by a great BYOB in the Northern Liberties section of the city. Il Cantuccio is on the corner of North 3rd and Fairmount Ave. Great Italian food.
Now I know everyone has sat down to a table that has been a little wobbly and the standard fix by the wait staff is a pack of matches, a folded up business card, or even sugar packets have done the trick. I saw something at Il Cantuccio that I have never seen. Our waiter grabbed a cork, cut it into a wedge, slid it under the wobbly leg and presto! A level table and a nice looking shim.
