It’s coming, father’s day. And as a grown up kid you can no longer get away with making him breakfast in bed and calling it good. You need to get your dad something that says “thank you for all the effort you put into raising me, I know I was a hassle sometimes.” If your dad is a wine lover than buying him a gift seems as easy as buying him a nice bottle and a card. Anyone can walk into a wine store or browse the web for great gift wines though; doesn’t the man that put up with you crying as a baby and sulking as a teen deserve something more?
Here is where you might want to consider garnishing that lovely bottle of his favorite vintage with a Chablis wine accessory gift set. But maybe even that isn’t enough to make up for the devil you were as a kid. Maybe instead of just a bottle, give your father a wine club membership. Aside from enjoying the wines your dad will think you have grown up more because you gave him a money savvy gift. It says you know how to save money and be a smart shopper; and wasn’t he always trying to teach you the value of a dollar?
